We've changed our name from mooo to tinyme and are excited to announce that we are going global. Last July we launched in the UK as tinyme and changing our name locally is part of our plan to go forward with 1 great international brand. Nothing else has changed. We’ll still be making things in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne and no, we haven't been taken over or anything like that. While we are really sad to see mooo go, we're also really excited that our little spare bedroom startup with 1 product is all grown up and taking it to the world. A super big thanks to the almost 150,000 happy customers who have supported us over the last 5 years. The best is yet to come…

So why have you changed your name?

Mooo is going global and unfortunately our .com.au website name just doesn't cut it anywhere outside of Australia (except for New Zealand - thanks for your understanding New Zealand). Last July we launched in the UK as tinyme.co.uk and changing our name locally is part of our plan to go forward with 1 great international brand.

Has mooo been taken over by some greedy multinational conglomerate?

Nope. Same old owners (Mike, Nick and Ben + lovely wives + 13 kids).

What has happened to mooo?

Sadly the name mooo is no longer. Although it will live on in our hearts and in the hearts of our almost 150,000 customers who have helped us grow up so quickly (can you hear the sad violins playing in the background?)

Has something bad happened that meant you had to change your name?

No. Nothing exciting like that, we just couldn't use a .com.au web address for exotic far away places like England or America.

Is the name change part of a larger plan for global domination of the extremely cute personalised kids products industry?

We'd like to think so.

What's in it for me?

As one brand things are a lot simpler around here and we can concentrate even more on making new stuff, new designs and more freebies. How does that sound?

Does going global mean you'll be moving things off shore?

No. Nothing will change. We'll still be based in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I love mooo. Why are you doing this to me?

Well, firstly thank you for your love. Mooo loves you too. We understand the pain you are feeling and how a brand change such as this may draw you into the winter of your discontent. However, from the ashes of mooo even more tinyme cheeky monkeys wearing inappropriate headwear shall spring forth and shout out "we love you even more than mooo did!" Are we all good?

I'm so excited. I love mooo and think tinyme sounds great. As a very happy long time customer I'm so happy to see a little Australian company grow up take it to the world.

Technically that isn't a question and isn't it slightly dodgy that the FAQ's include such raving unsolicited praise?

I'm a fan of mooo on Facebook whats happens now?

I'm glad you asked. Please click here to like our new shiny tinyme page to receive all the same freebies, updates and monkeyish goodness you enjoyed as a mooo fan.

I get emails from club mooo. I love those emails. Will they still come?

Yes, they sure will. You won't need to do or change anything, we've got it covered. They'll just be coming from tinyme.com.au instead.

Will all of your products now say tinyme instead of mooo?

That's right, however, we do still have some bags that are branded mooo (do I smell a sale coming on?)

What will happen to the mooo site?

Our clever geeky web thingy guys will make it redirect to tinyme.com.au. Fun, fun, fun.
